Royal Gentlemen Gala Dinner & Congress Awards | La Dolce Vita | Venice, 11 September 2026
On Friday, 11 September 2026, Venice will provide the stage for a private evening shaped by old-world elegance and a distinctly modern international spirit. Royal Gentlemen Club, led by Thomas Misse, will welcome guests to Ca' Sagredo Hotel for its Gala Dinner & Awards under the theme La Dolce Vita. The programme will feature the Congress Awards, founded by Anna Stukkert, alongside a special jewellery presentation by Oliver Weber Collection. The timing places the gala at the heart of one of the most visible cultural weeks in the world. The 83rd Venice International Film Festival runs from 2 to 12 September 2026. Since its creation in 1932, the festival has transformed Venice each year into an international crossroads for film, media and culture. Filmmakers and stars arrive for premieres on the Lido, while journalists, photographers, broadcasters, producers and industry leaders turn the lagoon city into a concentrated arena for storytelling, visibility and global connections. Royal Gentlemen Club will step away from the scale of the red carpet and into the intimacy of a Venetian palazzo. Ca' Sagredo, a 14th-century residence on the Grand Canal, carries the grandeur of Venice in its architecture, art and ceremonial rooms. It is an environment made for the evening's interpretation of Grand Art de Vivre: Black Tie, a carefully selected circle and a dinner designed to be experienced rather than rushed.
The Congress Awards ceremony will add an international recognition element to the night. Eric Adams, New York City's 110th Mayor from 2022 to 2025, will be among the Congress Awards laureates and is expected to receive his award in Venice. His career also includes service as Brooklyn Borough President and New York State Senator.
Another international guest, Alisa Roever, founder of Angels Helpers Foundation, will represent the philanthropic side of the programme. Her involvement reflects a wider ambition behind the gathering: to connect people whose work reaches beyond business or social visibility and into charitable and community-oriented initiatives. Alisa Roever is a New York-based philanthropist, entrepreneur, and founder of Angels Helpers, whose journey from Siberia to the international stage has evolved into a broader mission of social impact. After moving to New York City at the age of 20, she built a career spanning modeling, health and wellness before becoming increasingly active within the city’s philanthropic, business, and civic circles. Roever has engaged with prominent figures in New York public life and served as a volunteer for Eric Adams during his tenure as Mayor of New York City.
Today, she channels those relationships across civic leadership, business, culture, and philanthropy into the work of Angels Helpers, creating access to education, the arts, professional mentorship, and new opportunities for talented young people. At the heart of Roever’s philosophy is a simple principle: talent should never be limited by a family’s financial circumstances, and influence has its greatest value when it is used to open doors for the next generation. The evening's aesthetic story will be completed by Oliver Weber Collection, Official Jewellery Partner of the event. Its new Dolce Vita Collection takes Venice as a creative reference, drawing on the city's light, architecture, water, Carnival and timeless sense of theatre. Designed in Austria, the pieces introduce new Swarovski® crystal colours while retaining Oliver Weber's recognisable balance of femininity, precision and a subtle handmade finish.
The result is intended to feel less like a conventional gala and more like a private chapter of Venice during Festival week: a historic palace, international personalities, jewellery, recognition and philanthropy, all framed by the unmistakable atmosphere of La Dolce Vita.
